Starting January 1, 2016, Walmart will be temporarily unavailable as a cash pickup location in Mexico, due to a change in Walmart’s money transfer services.
But don’t worry! There are still thousands of cash pickup locations available, including Bancomer, Bancoppel, and Telecomm Telegrafos, to name only a few.
Did you know you can also send money directly to your receiver’s Mexican debit card or bank account?
If you have your receiver’s 16-digit Mexican debit card number, you can send deposits instantly to any debit card in Mexico. Alternatively, you can deposit the money directly into any bank account in Mexico. All you’ll need is the 18-digit CLABE number. (The CLABE is found on your receiver’s Mexican bank account statement.)
