Observed in many countries worldwide, the most iconic celebrations are held in France and the United States, particularly in New Orleans.
Despite cultural variations, Mardi Gras celebrations worldwide share a common spirit of joy, music, and festivity. Vibrant parades featuring elaborate costumes adorned with the iconic colors of purple, green, and gold are a defining hallmark of the festivities. These processions create a lively, infectious atmosphere that draws millions into the celebration. The signature colors hold significant meaning, representing power (purple), faith (green), and justice (gold).
