To get in the spirit of reflection and celebration, we asked Pangea user and Univision presenter Mau Mauricio about his favorite New Year’s traditions.
Mau says that his family gets together each year, extending the invite to friends who don’t have family close by. They typically eat a traditional Mexican meal, with an important New Year’s addition: grapes.
“We eat 12 grapes right before midnight and make 12 wishes,” Mau says. “We always say a few words to thank God and each member of the party…After that, we start karaoke!”
